Feels a little a flat and the shapes somewhat generic. Surely you'll be able to break that up with normals and textures but I'd try playing around with that very flat surface on the side of the main body. Keep it up!

Okay, starting UVW. Can't make it any better with the time I have left.

Trust me, I wanted to do more work on my models and such, but texturing can really make up for a lot of stuff. (even though I'm a "newbie" at texturing.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck, would be a shame if you didnt finish

The lower front section (where there is an opening) looks unfinished to me, was that intended? I think that you should "fill" that section up, say with a bay door or something.

Otherwise I like your(s) design, those "eye" sections make it look quite ominous.

Well it IS filled, but you can't see it by that perspective. Eye sections, what do you mean?

As expected, UV mapping the mothership is being a pain. Spent two more hours on it, and it's not finished yet.

So i finished this yesterday and delivered it a mere 40 minutes before the deadline, collapsing 20 seconds later into my bed.

I didn't like this competition very much, as I'm not used to work with vehicles much, because I make a load of weapons and props, and I'm not used to texture, and fan left the competition in the meantime and left the texturing only for me... I don't blame him, he had a good reason to do it.

So aniways let me thank all of you for all your support, crits and kind words, though I must also apologize for not having followed all the crits, because I knew that some of them would make the texturing harder and as such impossible for me.

I also want to thank robomaniac (Robomaniac's temporary gallery -> his sketchbook) , thanks to whom I had a pair of drawings, one of them made specially for the comp, to work from, which is something that pushed my model's quality up about 1343%. Thank you.

Last but not least, I want to say I don't want to win this competition. I worked half of saturday and all of sunday only with the two textures, and I'm not proud of them at all. My only reason to finish them was the whole finishing idea. What kind of runner gives up in the last 100 meters of a marathon, just because he has no hope to win? No, it was finished out of pride.

Thanks again all of you!

I like the design of the fighters, they remind me of fish trying to eat fish food :P (It looks like they have their mouth open or something).

The only crit I have about the model is that it's way too clean with textures. Some battle scars and warp space ware would be good, wouldn't have taken long to do those, but any way, the comp is over, if you wanted to keep continueing the model, they are my suggestions
