Squareroot in the house !

Hi from Brazil.

I'm a mapper with experience in UED and Gtkradiant. Currently I'm working with gtkradiant and seeking GPL games because I'm driving away from UED.

Here is something I've been collecting for the past week: Mega compilation of free texture sites, tutorials, communities and pretty much anything about 2D design (some references to 3D textures) or Copy in thinkfree docs . I'm collecting textures and texture tutorials to start drawing / painting my own work for my maps.

I don't remember how I've found this community, I think google did it for me a long time ago.

PS: I didn't look after painting tutorials, most of them would be under "digital art" and/or "matte painting" categories, something isn't really related to texturing.

I'm sorting out the sites to make it easier to find the tutorials. Adding some descriptions and removing redundant resources. Btw, some of the sites have already went off "Account suspended" or some warning error messages.

The world of 2D art and 3D rendering erased the word "mapping" from my brain

Found some resources about digital painting and how it's impossible to paint without a tablet. I tried painting artistically looking clouds like these but I got nowhere close of even shaping the clouds.
