[GAT] - 3D Environment - Red Brick Sanctuary

Here is the style guide for my entry, a long abandoned rat poison factory its pipes and silo's caked in toxic industrial sludge now a sanctuary for many homeless and forgotten people sheltering in the shell of the factory, deemed too dangerous to be moved on by the authorities they are left in relevant piece between the rusting pipes and moss

I'm hoping to post an update later today

Gah I just realised I didnt specify this is an environment - is it possible for an admin to change it?

Thanks for the title edit

Blocked out a super rough layout and created a tiling brick texture although I think I need to dirty it up a bit more currently working on the silo's you can see, trying to get them looking a bit more interesting

Punks! Thats some good reference - thanks! Some great ideas for the kind of people who would live and squat in a place like this

Making progress on the brick walls surrounding the piece, working outwards - inwards giving lots of details for stuff like foliage and broken pipes to hang from, entire scene is just over 5000 tris at the moment still need to delete any unseen backfaces no idea how I'm going to hit 50,000

Great start!! Looks awesome so far. I realise this is still WIP but just thought I'd mention

- The hazard signs look stretched at the mo

- The two containers look too similar so maybe add a bit more dirt/rust to one just to differentiate the two.

Love the brick work on the top of the walls!! Good luck with the rest

Great scene, your going fast!
I noticed that the white panel around the brick wall is a bit clean if you compare it to the dirty destroyed brick wall, so maybe you can add some more dirt there.

Thanks for the comments,

DOUGDEADLY Your right about the Hazard sign will fix that, for the two containers I'm planning on having one obscured by ivy so hopefully they both should look unique, might even do a damaged one - got plently of texture space

Rednaz Thanks! The white spaces in the scene are just off-white placeholders so I'm not put off by the default stretched checkerboard so hopefully they should have a nice tiling brick trim soon
