![]() Mid-SeniorArtists Threewave Software is seeking experienced Artists to provide strong artistic assets to our newest exciting PC / Console titles. Threewave Software believes in supporting team effort and is looking for team players who are bright, highly motivated, and passionate about a challenge. Main Responsibilities: Committed independent worker who is self-sufficient in his / her artistic and technical production skills Ability to manage time while working closely with the art director on design and development of the visual aspects of the game Ability to be made accountable for art production and design development of game areas, making creative decisions to maintain consistent style (characters, terrain, UI, etc.) Ability to be a mentor & be mentored in making creative decisions to maintain consistent style Creation of art assets of consistent high quality proactive in problem solving with other team members Ability to motivate others and maintain positive professional attitude Ability to work with the team and art director to ensure all milestones are met on time Required: Thorough knowledge and efficiency using 3D modeling and animation packages, including but not limited to 3D Studio Max or Maya Thorough knowledge and efficiency using art creation/manipulation packages, Mentorship abilities Exceptional ability to design and produce game art assets Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proven personal expertise in traditional art skills. Background in concept/graphic/and or architecture design Ability to multi task under pressure At least 1 year previous experience in art related position in the game industry Keen interest in playing games and the future of the gaming industry Preferences: Experience in cross-platform development Area of Focus: Map Creation and Terrain Textures Preferably previous game environment asset creation Strong understanding of level design and game environment requirements FPS player Position Status: Full Time, extensive benefits package and stock options.
