[MOD] Offworld: Fall of mars

They will be hybrid hover/flight vehicles using nearly conventional weapons. Flight dynamics have already been created. This template will be applied to each vehicle and tweaked according to the indivdual models characteristic. Battles will take place on 2 sq km maps. ( we are considering scaling the ships and static down to give us 4km maps. wouldnt that be fun!) ![]() considering moving the project to another engine at a later stage if its a good concept Current team Mod lead: Irontaxi Advisor: Rhino (Project reality Lead mapper) Modeller: Z-trooper Looking for: 1 Modellers: projects could include the following 1. small compact single man crafts for each of the 3 factions (9 ships in total) 2. static models based on a unified concept model. (ie we deicide what the style of construction will be and stick to it.) 1-2 texture artists: Primarily ship textures and static model textures. No character models or infantry models will be used in this mod Website artist: Need to at least have a basic homepage and forum to make it a legitimate portfolio project in my opinion. Who am I? Update Mars Test flight video ..VTOL
Here is a short test flight.flight dynamic has come along really well and terrain is looking very nice in my opionion..
Test flight 2 carft are really meant to hug the terrain. Flight is closer to a hovercraft/helicopter than a standard lift generating craft..keep your speed up by using the terrain.. you can see i failed at that a few times in this test flight..hehe.. currently using our trusty test vehicle which you can see at the video start..hehe.(no ships will look nothing like that) Still looking for one more texture artist if anyone is keen to do a few sci-fi ships.. We are currently in search of texture artists and modelers. People with BF2 (or other engine) experience is prefered as far as I know.
You can post a little bit of info like i.e. how long you have been modeling for, what moddings experinces you have and possibly a few shots of some stuff you have done in the past ![]() Irontaxi is living in Japan so he is asleep now, but if you have xfire you can add me there, my id is: ztrooper Also it dosnt seem like Irontaxi has linked to our site/forum - so check it out.
