Looking to ReSkin Zombpocalypse

Hey guys,

I have recently created a game which I submitted to the IGF 09. You can find a download of the game HERE I did not make the cut for the list of finalists sadly but I was hoping to take what I have and polish it into a full-featured game; re-skinning the entire visuals and giving it a professional flare. I am not an artists by trade, I am a programmer and so you might notice the distinct lack of high quality models and textures, but the rendering tech is fairly solid.

I am currently still working to add features to the code but if any artists are interested in working together on this project I could definitely use the help. I really need talents from across the board to move this game into the professional market. *fingers crossed* I'm really shooting for something solid to hopefully apply to get onto Steam or some other well known distribution channel.

* storyboard/concept artist
* 2D artist (UI design & textures)
* environment modeler
* characters (modeling, rigging, animating)
* multiple zombie types, a player model, weapon models
* cinematic animators (maybe.. not sure I want to bite off this much)

^ Artists probably should be capable of using Autodesk Maya since I don't use MAX and I'm not sure how easily assets will translate (though that new FBX format looks promising).

Oh yeah $...

Well I'm still working out the specifics since I am hoping to make this as a for-sale product at some point but I just don't know how far off I am from that.. so... I just don't know how that is going to work yet.

I've posted in this MOD forum because I'm hoping to find a team, partners, not just freelancers. I'd like to work on this from the perspective of "let's make something fun and gorgeous and worry about making money later". I do have plans for revenue sharing but that is all based on actually making a complete game first so I'm trying not to get ahead of myself.

...still looking. if there's anyone who happens to be working on real-time environments, characters, weapons, props, or anything that you feel would be a good fit, please contact me. I'm even looking for someone to not just contribute art but game design ideas as well. This project will likely die on the vine without your support.

Not a bad looking little game what engine have you used for a base or is it coded from the ground up? Also where abouts in the world are you based?
