First let me tell you a little bit about me. I currently work in the games industry as a senior engineer. By day I work alongside some of the top industry talent in a professional studio working on a genre leading game. I've contributed to games that have cumulatively sold over 10 million units worldwide, working for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Konami, SEGA, EA, Activision and Microsoft.

That's my day job. This is something a little bit different. I've partnered with an extraordinarily talented friend of mine to incubate a project we're calling Fever Games. We're aiming to position ourselves in the emerging markets of web / mobile games, and we are planning to make a big impact. It's a real business, we're VAT registered and we're already taking on exciting projects for some pretty exciting clients, and we need someone to help out. What we're looking for is someone who shares the same talent and passion as we do for making products that potentially appeal to millions.

The successful applicant will join our small but talented and energetic team as a Junior Game Artist. You will be responsible for assisting with the following duties on a range of projects:

• User Interface Design
• Character Design
• Anything else we can throw at you!

We are aiming high and thinking big, so our expectations are high. The successful applicant will have the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional flair for design and composition, with a keen eye for detail
• Versatile and adaptable art style
• Proficiency with Photoshop / Illustrator / Flash essential
• Proficiency with 3dsmax or equivalent would be highly advantageous
• Knowledge of animation techniques would be highly advantageous

To be clear this is an UNPAID / volunteer role. The way it's going to work is like this. You will have a probation period of 3 months. We will offer you one-to-one mentoring and guidance, however it will be up to you to acquire the tools and expertise you need to prove yourself. This will not be an easy role, it will require commitment to get results, but we can offer you a rare and exciting opportunity:
