2D/3D Artist Needed

My team is currently working on Operation Terraform. A browser-based sci-fi RPG that allows for a lot of player built content.

The story is that Earth has become over populated and health of the people has gotten terrible. The people build a spaceship and travel to a new planet to build a new life. On this planet, they can build shops and harvest resources, etc. The world will be very open and players are free to roam however they choose.

We have built a small working design of the game in php to show that it will work. We are now working to make a cleaner, better performing game using javascript to make the map more free roaming. We have nothing as far as screen shots go because the first build used very ugly art and we are still building the new one and have no art, which is why I am here

Because we are in the early stages of developing the actual game world, we could really use a concept artist right now. Within the next month or so we will need a 2D artist to build tiles, sprites, etc. We basically have nothing visually. Our main concern right now is the concept artist especially if that person can do other art, but we will really need at least one of them.

Anyone interested, please visit: Crashing Sword Entertainment • Index page
Then fill out the short application in the introductions section.

Thanks for your time.

We are still looking. Today I posted a basic game design document to tell more about what we are doing. I have also been spending a lot of time on the game story which I should have a draft of up in the next few days.

We are still in great need of a concept artist and 2D artist. If you are interested in the project, even if you do not want to help, please stop by and check us out. Thanks!

We have been working hard the last few weeks. Especially our lead programmer and concept artist. I have an early screenshot to show we are making progress, as well as some concept art showing the style and color scheme we are going for. We hope to have a playable demo up in a few weeks.

Concept Art:

Special thanks to JMB Creative Art & Illustration for the concept art.

The concept artist position has been filled, but interested concept artists are allowed to apply in case we need someone to help take some of the load off of our current concept artist even though we are not actively searching for another.

We are however still in need of a 2D artists capable of making tiles, buildings, plants, etc like in the screenshot or even a 3D artist capable of turning their models into 2D images for us to use.

Anyone interested should apply in our introductions section of the forum at: Crashing Sword Entertainment

Thanks!

Just an update. We are still searching. Our concept artist should have another piece done this week and I will post it as soon as possible. Our programming is still making progress with the map development. Please check out our forums if you are willing to share your services. Thanks
