Crystal Core - Seeking Technical Artist, Character Artist, etc.
![]() ![]() Technical Artist: As Technical Artist you could be given any of the following tasks: - Working between the programming and art team to ensure a flow of development. - Provide artistic viewpoints on design, environments and characters. - Provide technical viewpoints on design documentation, game features and engine functionality. - Communicate with the team about the amount of time required to finish current tasks. You should have the following skills: - Strong understanding of the Unreal Engine (Unreal Development Kit) - Working knowledge Material Editor, Kismet, Matinee, and other engine features. - Decent knowledge of rigging and animation. - Must be able to work efficiently and independently. ---------------------- Character Artist: As Concept Artist you could be given any of the following tasks: - Production of character models, textures and animations. - Working cooperatively with other team members. - Provide artistic viewpoints on design, environments and characters. - Task management based on schedules provided by the Project Managers. - Communicate with the team about the amount of time required to finish current tasks. You should have the following skills: - Strong understanding of character modeling and texturing. - Knowledge of rigging and animation. - Must be able to work efficiently and independently. - Extensive knowledge of production development tools. - Professional communication skills (e-mail, phone, face to face). ---------------------- Lead Programmer: As lead programmer you could be given any of the following tasks: - Production of technical design documentation. - Working cooperatively with other team members in all areas of development. - Working with an existing game engine (Unreal Development Kit). - Development of new systems and/or technologies. - Use of 3rd Party libraries / tools and technologies. - Provide technical support to art and design staff for engine/tools. - Task management based on schedules provided by the Project Managers. - Communicate with the team about the amount of time required to finish current tasks. You should have the following skills: - Strong C/C++ and assembly language programming skills. - Strong 3D graphics programming skills. - Must be able to work efficiently and independently. - Extensive knowledge of production development tools. - Ability to write efficient, clean, maintainable and portable code. - Professional communication skills (e-mail, phone, face to face). ---------------------- If you wish to apply for one of the listed positions, or you have a talent that you think we could use.
