I'm one of a couple developers working on a Flash game, and we're looking for an artist to partner with us. Unlike most Flash games, this game is mostly in 3D, has real-time, client-server multiplayer, and involves long-term character progression. It's much more like a conventional game title, but we're using Flash to make it easier for new players to try out the game.
It's a mech game where players can fight team battles, capture bases defended by turrets and drones, and eventually upgrade their piloting skills and acquire new mechs and gear. Right now we're using placeholder art, but this can hopefully give a little bit of an idea of what the engine is like:

We'd like to find an artist who will be a partner in the game's development -- someone who can participate in game design and create an overall look for the game. We need quite a variety of art resources: 3D models and textures, terrain textures, weapon effects art, and 2D art for the user interface.
The developers are currently working for equity in the game and shares of its potential revenue (and just to make a great game). We'd like to find an artist who's interested in working on that same basis, but if we find the right artist who's only interested in a paid position, we'd consider that. We're based in the San Francisco bay area; someone we could work with in person would be great but isn't necessary.
