Our Mod

Synopsis
Set in 2010 (originally 2007) at the heart of the world and the gates to the middle east, Turkey. An argument leaches out of a NATO conference where nations were in massive disagreement with each other over topics in which the world's people are not familiar with. The United States military and left allies invade Turkey to capture highly important political individuals and gain control of its deposits of the important strategic resource 'Borax', which only remains to be found on Turkish soil. After securing the principal cities in Turkey, the U.S. attempts to re-enact the Treaty of Sèvres by dividing the nation up between its historic rivals Greece and Armenia, causing an uproar and pandemic through out the middle east. The Turkish Republic then responds by forming a military alliance with China, Russia and Germany to seek full-on retaliation.
A war at a scale which one may call "World War III" breaks out. The U.S. government in the plot is led by a nameless president reminiscent of George W. Bush. The plot also features then-current real-life political leaders at the helm of their respective nations.

The game will be a multiplayer modification, consisting of Urban and Special Operations military warfare.

Please note, obviously the plot is entirely fictional, so please try not to take offence at any areas which you may not agree with or dislike. Remember that this will be a warfare mod, thus anything can happen with any nation within the plot.
