Seeking 2d vector fantasy artist

I'm looking for a freelance artist, but looking at DeviantART it is totally overwhelming, so here I am.

Not a game studio and this project is not really a game but still looking for game style art. Project is entirely web-based. Project is adult (although there is no sexually explicit art required) and I will not employ anyone below the age of 18, unless they are utterly perfect and turning 18 Real Soon Now. I am based in Australia working standard daylight hours so this is strictly telecommute and there needs to be some overlap in our times of awakeness.

Style required is vector, semi-realistic fantasy style NOT the popular anime/manga style where every character looks very samey. No animation. Prefer goth/steampunk style of art.

Strong preference given to a student or freelancer in a 1st world country looking for a 6-12 month part-time development project and option of a continuing arrangement after launch for further art assets. Paid per-item, happy to negotiate a rate. You're going to need a portfolio with *both* genders represented, I'm losing count of how many people's portfolios I've looked at that don't have any men in. Boobies are great, but I need to see beards too. And indoor scenes.

At this stage I am looking for 3 separate things, and I am open to getting a different artist for the icons to the other components.

1. Icons representing historical occupations like blacksmith etc, represented by anvils, horseshoes etc. There will be around 60 of these icons initially with not much scope to add more after launch.

2. Panoramic background scenes to fit a standard website width. These will be of fairly standard fantasy places, eg interior of pubs, houses, forge, garden scenes. Around 30 of these initially. This is the category that is most likely to be ongoing after launch.

3. Character components to make an avatar generator. Busts only, so looking for components like eyes, ears, mouths, hair and upper bodies. Human only, both genders. As many as necessary to make a reasonable initial selection for users to make custom avatars. Also scope here for continuing work after launch.

Yeah, seen you pop up on other 'wanted' threads too. Your portfolio (unless I'm missing something) has no interiors in it, and I'm after a lot of interior pictures.

I'll take not-vector backdrops, but definitely want vector characters.
