Modeler

I wont lie, im no designer, i cant texture, in fact, i cant do a lot.

BUT, i can model, virtually anything, and accurately.

I dont really have any work i can show, almost everything i've done is for my employer, so you'd have to take my word for it.

If you can give me a good drawing, I can model it.

And I'm available.

Im in!

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get involved somehow in this competition, BUT I am new around here and don't have much to show thus far, although I do have stuff that is available to be viewed by request.

This would be my first online group competition/collaboration, but I have worked on a group project before (Studio Production course in college)

I haven't done any modeling for games, but I am hoping to learn more regarding poly limitations and Normal mapping.

I have experience with the following relevant areas:

- Modeling (environments/props/vehicles are my strength when it comes to modeling)
- Texturing (I'm decent except for Normal mapping) In the process of learning Zbrush
- Lighting

I can try to make time to work on this when I get home from work. I usually only have a couple hours free a night.

Lemme know if you're interested!

I might be interested in joining(with my massive movie knowledge) this competition, if someone would be willing to take a gimpy modeler. I can do all sorts of photoshop stuff since that's my background, but my modeling is slowly(5 months in) starting to take shape >.<

Having seen the specs I'd be very interested in forming/joining a team - preferably with someone whos got a bit of level design know how so we can get it in an engine and so some nice stuff with the lighting. I've a few ideas of my own, but I'm happy enough to along with someone else's ideas as well. I've only just started texturing, but my modelling is pretty good. Sadly, no portfolio as most of my stuff has been mod work - I can show a few renders and UV layouts though if that is of any help.

I've got no portfolio, but I do have my sketchbook thread and miscellaneous other renders of the high poly variety(which I just build out of fun and abandon before finishing a low poly in most cases). I too would like to find someone who is knowledgeable in UE3, since I don't have Unreal and think that's a major benefit for this competition. I've spent the better portion of the last 2 hours browsing movie trailers and movies I own for the perfect scene >.<
