Just wanted to say hello to all artists, designers and other...ehm....enthusiasts!
Btw www.game-artist.net - great project....and it has bright future!

Some suggestions:

Video tutorials
Tutorials (step by step)
Free resources (materials, textures,models)
Contests (with no poly limits)

And maybe u should try making a big project (game for example or game mod) so every forum member could take part in it

Thanks for suggestions. The spotlight articles will be changed regularly with tutorials and stuff, obviously as the site grows there will be more general content and resources too

Video tutorials require a lot of work and traffic which we can't afford yet, but we're always looking for good tutorials and making of's!

Well, running a project where everyone can take part doesn't work. I've seen it at Crymod.com (FarCry), people couldn't agree on an idea and there were large different skill levels...but Mod Teams are welcome to share progress in an appropriate thread!
