Hello! My name is Matthew and I'm from North Carolina (USA). I'm 25-years-old, working full-time and going to school for a game design degree. I have always been creative, I grew up playing music and convinced in my teenage years that I was going to be a rockstar. Needless to say that didn't happen lol. Then I found out that the community college where I live offered a game design degree so I jumped on it. I have since bought just about every 3D modeling book on Amazon.com and have learned more at hom than I have at school. So, my hope is to be a 3D modeler for a game company...or movie industry...pretty much anywhere that I can use my 3D skills.

Glad to be here
I am a student of Business Administration at Emporia KS. Although I am not into the graphics field directly, I have a strong interest in Game Art, specifically character modeling and animation. I am currently using blender but later plan to use 3Ds Max, Maya and Zbrush for small freelance projects.

Hello, my name is Kevin im 13 and I live in the state of Florida. I started animation and using 3DS MAX around Christmas of 2008. I started out gaming since I was just a little boy, Quake and Half-Life being some of my favorites. I am more strong in Animation than modelling or texturing, I am actually a horrible texturer and have the least experience in it.
I hope to become an animator for a studio or a character artist. I'm really interested in Character Design but my modelling skills are lacking. |

Hello all! My name is Jon, I'm a 23 year old student in the Game Art & Design program out of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh online division and I work full time as a Network Engineer. It can be a real bear sometimes juggling both schedules but I've managed. I'm a little more than half way through the program and I'm ramping up to get my work out there in the real world. I've been playing games since I could hold a controller and am still an avid player. My passion is to be a Character artist/animator for a development studio. I'm excited to post some of my work here and get some real critiques to grow with all of you.

Hey there, The names Wayne, I live in Australia but born in South Africa. Ever since I landed in Australia and my dad bought me my first game console (the Super Nintendo Entertainment System also known as the snes) I have wanted to make my very own games.
I am more of programmer than a artist the main reason is I don't have the patience and imagination that most artists have. The more enjoyable part of making games for me is to actually program them. I do make my own art for my games which is really bad. Most of my programming has been spent using a unknown language of Basic4GL (which I find good for quick projects) and C++. I have only being in the programming world for 2 years, however probably only have programmed for a maximum time of 6 months in the 2 years period. I have just started a fairly nice game project and hope to share some of my work to you guys as well as stick to it from start to finnish. The thing that I find difficult is when I stop programming on a project for a couple of days is getting the motivation to continue with it. The main reason for this is the games I tend to make only really are for me. Now this is why I joined this site. 1) to learn new techniques in created art for my games. 2) find someone who has the same interests in the type of games I like so they can help me do art. But my main reason is to learn how to make awesome artwork for 2D games. regards Wayne Rayner |

Greetings and Salutations
'Sup, y'all? (Username) Eladral here, just wanted to introduce myself. I have several months left before graduating with a bachelors as a 3D modeler (Media Arts and Animation to be procise) and I thought to myself what better place is there to refine my skills and obtain worthwhile critiques than the community here on the Game Artists forum at CG Society? Anyways, I have yet to post a profile and some work... looking forward to the challenges!

Intro
Hi my name is Lam, I'm a student studying game development in Manchester, I loved games! My first console was the Sega Megadrive and that I played it when I was about 5 or something haha. So yeah I've been a gaming fanatic for a long time now. I want to use this site to look at others work and observe whilst also posting my own work as well. I'm interested on the artistic as well as the technical side of things. I hope to improve my work through out the days, months, years etc. whatever it takes.
Ok thats it about me ![]() |
