Hi guys i have been here for a day or so.This is my first post and i hae been modelling for 2-3 months now.

Well hulo thar.

My name is Toby Arnold, I'm 21. I've been doing 3D Modelling for nigh on 3 years (give or take), mostly with 3DS Max and Lightwave. I've also used Zmodeler and Milkshape, but mainly for game file format purposes, or game editing. Started texturing my own stuff a year or so ago using Photoshop. I've resided in the HL/CS community for a fair share of that time, making weapon models, but before that I worked on a number of GTA3/Vice City based projects at 3D-Graffiti when it was still online. Also dabbled in level design for Half Life and GTA3, but not really enough to warrant any kind of status as "skilled".

Currently unemployed and no previous industry experience, just waiting to re-enrol at University for my 2nd Year in Games Design. And working on an undisclosed modification for HL2, doing their weapon models before shipping off and working for Stepping Stones (Crysis Mod) if they'll have me.

Yo!

The name is Jóhannes Sigurðsson, but around the interweb I'm usualy refered to as a "Joe".
I'm 22 winters old and come from the land of the ice and snow, at the middle of the North Antlantic Ocean, a little-big island called Iceland. I picked up Blender 3d about 6 or 7 years ago or so, worked my way up to Gmax and upgraded to 3D Studio Max. For some reason I took a brake from 3d to work on other hobbies, such as flying, firearms and other aspects of multimedia. At the last year of the Multimedia School of Iceland I kinda got into 3d again and been slowly working my way up.

I've worked with mods here and there, for games like Operation Flashpoint, Battlefield 1942, C&C Generals, Rainbow Six.. etc.. but never made anything worth the big hurray really. I'm now working my way up the ladder in 3d, learning on Auto-Cad, practicing in photoshop, and keeping an eye out for anything big in the game/mod world.

I'd like to take the time out that I like what this site is about, the general concept of it, and that I'm starting to feel right at home around here. I'm looking forward to the future, to participate in the competions, to help out where help is needed, and pointing out my opinions on matters, wether those are needed/wanted or not.
