Hi all,

My real name's Marc, and I'm 16 currently. I don't have a job in the industry or anything fancy like that currently. (although I will definitely be looking into it as a possible career path) I've just been modelling in Maya for the last year or so as a little hobby.

Anywho, I just wanted to say a quick hello to you all, as I'm thinking of entering the competition tomorrow sometime (got wads of maths coursework to do at the moment). Hopefully I'll be able to whip something up with equal quality to the rest of you guys.

Hello All,
I am Viper, real name is Joe. I have been freelancing in the game arena for the past 7 years. I can do just about anything but create textures (which I would love to learn to do). I really enjoy working on mods. I competed in a Multiplayer FPS Game Programming Competition last year and won 2nd. What I am working on now is a brand new game engine and game concepts. My goal is to create something that I can in turn teach to others that are interested.

I am a engineer by schooling and profession, but my hobby and passion is computer games and how they work and creating them (just need some new ideas!).

Hey, guess I should introduce myself aswell.
I'm a 21 year old 3d and animation student from Norway with a passion for game development. Been working on mods and such for a few years and done some freelance work here and there. Currently trying to find a job and improving my portfolio.

Other than that i also enjoy music, both making and listening to it.

Hey everyone, 18 year old guy from Norway here. Call me Sam or Taxi, whichever you prefer =)
I'm fairly new to 3D and have just recently been getting into it on a serious basis.
Thought I'd join the forum to learn more and meet people with the same interest =)

Other then 3D, I enjoy music, games, movies and drawing.

Hello , and welcome to the people who've just recently joined the forums. I've been a member of the site since a few days after the launch of the forums. Although I've never actually introduced myself. So ... Hello everyone my name is Beau, I'm 25 , and live in a small rural town in Ohio (US) . I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. I've only been in the modding scene for about 3 to 4 years, but nothing major, mostly just dabbling with level design for the most part. Here within the last year and a half, I've tried my hand at modeling. I've not had much time to do so, because of real life going on, and keeping me busy. As of late I've been trying to get as much free time into working with 3d as is allowed by everything else that is going on. Anyway I fully enjoy the site, and the people here as well. I hope to sometime soon get moving on increasing my skills in 3d. So if you've read all this thanks, I kinda got long winded. Hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more of me in the near future.
