hi, this is Andreas "Taxi!" Braunagel. I'm 20 and living in northern Germany. Insulaner gave me the link to these great forums and here I am!
Im experienced in creating levels for HL1 and HL2 and I've been mapping since 2k ...but it was just messing around with Worldcraft back then my first experiences in mapping have been back in the days of Duke Nukem 3D when I built levels for my brothers to play.

In the last couple of years I've been mapping for the "The Specialists" mod for HL1 and am now working on maps for "Pirates, Vikings & Knights II" and "BRAWL", both mods for HL2.
I use ps for texturing and started modeling this spring using 3ds max.

Im happy to have found this very helpful place.

Hello,
My name is Stephanie, and I'm 21 and I live in Canada. I've always been interested in the making of videogames, but about a year ago I made my final decision to work in the industry. I'm completely new to everything except general art, because until now, I've studied in fine arts and art history. But I'm entering in a 3D animation class next month and I'm planning on working very hard.
I discovered this site yesterday, and people here makes useful critics and I hope to get some help if needed. Oh and I visited the finished projects and also those on progress, and some are completely amazing and inspiring, Bravo !

Well...my real name is Gordon. I am 27 years old and I am living in Chile right now. My girlfriend is chilean and thats why I moved from Germany to Chile a few years ago.
