Hey everyone! I'm a 32-year old artist pursuing a career in video game design. Yeah, I'm getting into the 'game' a bit late, but it's something I've always wanted to do. That's why I'm here. I want to connect with people with similar goals and interest so I can become a better artist and finally get a job in the game industry.

I'm Rafael ventura, and I've been working with art for some 6 years now... with games, it's about 4 years, with illustrations, animations and pixel art. Also I worked as a conceptual designer and lead artist.

Hi my name is Nichole(prefer Nic) I feel so old in this thread I am 33 although thank god for good genes I am told I look 24 lol. I have been an artist all my life but got stuck in the finance world and looking desperately for a career change. I believe doing what you love to do instead of doing what with you were stuck with. You will always be happier . I am currently trying to perfect my skills in Adobe creative suite and Autodesk Softimage. I would love to go back to school for animation or 3d modeling although it's been little difficult trying to figure out how to do that with it being so expensive, don't believe I would get a good scholarship at my age and basically wouldn't be able to have a job while in school or or have a low hour part time one, but it something I am hoping I could do and like every problem I will figure it out. Also learning some programming so I can develop an iPhone game ( I am a overachiever lol). I love drawing mechanics or characters and I am a big fan of space art, art. Nice to meet you all
