Hello, everybody.
My name is Nauris Krauze, and I am a 2D artist/illustrator with around 8 years experience in game industry. I have no formal education in arts (studied TV directing in my time) but been drawing since I can remember myself.
Some of my games-related work can be seen in my portfolio here
My holy trinity of tools is Photoshop, Wacom tablet and pencils, nothing much else is usually required.

Hi, my name is Chris, I'm 23 and reside in Adelaide, Australia.
I've always aspired to be a part of the games industry and have interests ranging from 2d Pixel art to lo-fi and HQ 3D, my interests don't just lie in the art side I also dabble in design and (Lite)programming too.

I'm self taught and still in the process of building my skill-set and love the inspiration to be had by other artists especially in such field with such creative potential like Videogames.

I haven't had reliable internet until just recently, so never really had the benefit of being a part of an online community until now

Hi Everyone, thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself as I've just recently discovered this forum and have been a game artist for over 10 years and decided to participate here as a new member. A brief background begins with modding Aliens vs.Predator back in 1999, working with 3ds max and editing tools. Then working at Rockstar Games Toronto in 2002-03 on a PS2 game The Warriors, and after that was a teacher at a private collage with about 20 students for about a year. Later on came DOOM 3 editing to where I made various mods, some based off of movies like Event Horizon and Phantasm for DOOM 3. I'm still working on renderings, concepts, sound, animations, cinematics, texturing, modeling and lighting in a few projects I have. I have work published that is available to try as game mods and static models I've uploaded, screenshots and videos are available as well.

I've used other software for content creation besides 3ds max like photoshop,VUE, and a few others and some I'm still learning like (lightwave). I still have trouble with that. Also learning new engines and new software like mudbox,Maya, C4D, and some other happy programs. Perhaps I can learn a few things here as well as share some of my techniques and knowledge and share my works here with everyone.
