Hi All!!
My name is Lisa. I'm Australian. 21 years old. I'm currently studying Illustration at UniSA. I've been drawing and animating since I was little. I first started animation when I was about 10, I don't know if anyone is familiar with 'the games factory' hahaha. I used to make silly little pixel animations and games.

I use Adobe After Effects for animating in now. I love creating characters for games and animations, but have not yet started anything serious outside of uni. I hope by the time I finish Uni this year, I will be able to work in the gaming industry. It's what I'm really excited about!

I also love illustrating for children's books and using traditional media. Can't wait to see some cool work and hear about everyone's experiences and advice!

Hello,

I'm Joeri (as you may have noticed from my name), and 22 years old.

Currently I'm studying Digital arts and Entertainment here in Belgium.
Working in the game industry has been a goal for quite some time now.
My main focus has been (before I started studying at DAE) programming, but that has changed quite a bit by now.

So currently I am still trying to find my way, trying to learn as much as possible in the little more then 2 years I have ahead of me now.
The biggest "problem" I have is that I love doing 3d as much as I love programming (games)

And for the rest, I love doing all of this, and I really want to strive to become better at this.
So that is also kind of my motivation to join forums like these, to be able to communicate with other people that do this/love this, share critiques and just learn as much as possible.

And if you see some work of me popping up on the forums, don't hesitate to critique it, even if it's harsh critique

Hi,

my name is Noël, 25 years, I'm from Germany. I work as webdesigner and developer in a small web agency. After mastering Photoshop for the past 15 years or something, getting pretty good in CSS-based design and the typical web-techniques like PHP, JS and all that you can build with it, with frequent detours into gamedesign, animation and 3d modelling, I finally started learning 3D Studio Max last month and also a game project with a co-worker to immediatly put the new knowledge to good use.
We use Unity game engine and I am really exited about what is possible with some work. Currently mastering UV mapping is giving me a headache each weekend.

Im looking forward to get helped and help out myself wherever possible.
