it looks like some of you didn't have to work hard at all, just started out instand pro
. Damn G, if you'd posted that in the wip section i'd probably say: nice job man. Cmon, we know you can do worse that that ![]() IMO the honor for worst model definitely goes to armanguy at this moment ![]() Here's mine: Made this for a ravenshield mod a few years ago. As far as i can remember this was my first textured object. Unwrapping was still like hell for me in those days... ![]() The texture is at 50%, but i think it's still big enough to show all it's great details... If needed i can provide more wireshots to show off the impeccable polyflow and polydistrubution... ![]() cheers

Here are some people I made for a 1999 Animation Master project. Some are just crappy heads, but some have crappy bodies as well. Basically they are just warped cylinders, with no articulated eyes/mouths. With a lot of their textures being non-direct-feed TV screen captures. Kudos if you can identify all of the celebrities pictured.

It's certainly is entertaining seeing all this old stuff, but compared to you lot my early stuff sucked. Luckily I can't find any of my old stuff....but still, either you guys are exceedingly awesome, or I chose the wrong hobby

Sadly my very first models are no longer with me, so I can't pull out anything that looks totally monstrous. I gotta say my old stuff looks way worse than what's here, are people just being modest or did I have a really rocky start?
Here's my first ever spec map, I was pretty proud at the time, I spent entire minutes just rotating the viewport to watch the light play off the surface. ![]() |

Nice idea for a thread =)
Here's mine: A popcorn popper that's still in use in Insurgency. It makes no sense since I made this from my head instead of looking for proper references. The texture is also very ugly and annoying. I'm ashamed I made such a sucky model for such a great mod back then :S ![]()
