I've played all these games and you're all wrong. And silly.
Punch Out is the only answer. For the NES. I completed it when I was 8 and we got so excited jumping up and down that the NES's power cord came out and we didn't even get to see the freaking ending. Magic times. |

Even most great games end on a pretty poor note in my opinion, I'm looking at you Assassin's Creed.
That said, Mass Effect was pretty great no matter how you finished. I also really liked how all the disparate story elements seemed to come together at the end of Psychonauts. |
