They definitely look like solid tutorials. The outcome is amazing.

I've been looking at these for the last couple weeks, wondering if i'd dare to buy one. (most training dvd's i've watched are kinda disappointing to me because they don't really explain all the stuff I was expecting). Has anyone actually seen these (HP?), on a scale to 10, how much would you give? (for going into technical details and stuff like that)

I must say the outcome looks really good on that sample video
but then again its not very realistic in terms of what games use these days.
The texturesizes are very big.
nevertheless for a portfolio thing it would be nice and i think you can pick up some nice techniques.

there isn't anything unrealistic about the specs they are using. modern Engines like unreal 3 will automatically generate mip maps.

doylle, I'm going to order the DVD's tomorow, and I'll post here my opinion about this deal, as soon as I start taking a look at it!

But, I've been told most of the past eat3d tutorials are simply amazing, I wouldn't be surprised if this one follows the same lines!

Cant wait to hear your reviews on it, i hope Eat-3d isnt a rip off like Gnomon, they charged me $100 buck for 1 tutorial that was more lousy then a mentally handicapped boy trying to teach it to me
