Nice job, it just shows that you never know and if you don't put it out there and try you'll definitely never know.. Way to ignore that feeling we all get that says 'nah this will be a waste of time, nothing will come of it' and actually go for it no matter the outcome.
Your work is beautiful as well, the only thing that surprises me is that it took them 2 weeks to hire you instead of nabbin you on the spot after seeing how insanely talented you obviously are!

No matter what happens now, there is no better feeling then breaking into the industry with your first job. I'm sure based on your portfolio you'll have success.

Sounds like fate to me, the people you worked for shut down and you get a job at Crytek!

Your portfolio is great. All of your stuff is high-end, which probably made the decision easier for Crytek to make when hiring you.

Good luck for the future, and I hope to be hearing inside gossip soon enough
