Im looking into game art schools but I don't know what I should pick? A amazing school like savannah or full sail, that will leave me broke or a school thats just good enough and alot cheaper? I live in new bern, NC.. you have any suggestions for great game art schools that wont leave you broke? I'd much rather do a on campus thing too.
is AI of Raleigh good? The Art Institute of Raleigh - Durham

Hey all, I live in Connecticut and Im looking for a good game art/game design school in my area.
I see that Quinnipiac in Hamden has a game art program now, any idea how that is? Is it worth checking out? Also, Becker College in Worcester, Mass seems interesting. Thank you! PM me please for any other recommendations. |

Out of these subject choices Mathematics, Computing, Physics, Art and Design, Product Design, Graphic Communication, English, History, Geography, Modern Studies which would be the best to pick to help me if I wanted to to a computer game art course later in my life. I can pick only 5 subjects and places near me that have computer game art courses all require Art and Design but what other 4 subjects would be useful.

After that, I'd pick up Anatomy for the Artist by Sarah Simblet. It will help you with drawing human figures. The last and most important piece of information is to practice, practice, and practice. Make it a habit to draw daily if you can make the time. Remember that every new work of art will become your best piece of art if you continue to put time and effort into your work. Don't be discouraged if what comes out on the paper is not what you had in mind because that's how it goes 99.9% of the time for everyone. That's just the nature of art itself. The errors we make become the lessons of how to do better on the next pass. -Yoka |
