Hideo Kojima Comes to London

Yes people, Hideo Kojima came to London HMV in Oxford Street, the man who we know as 'gaming legend/god'. To those who dont know he's the japanese guy who made the Metal Gear Series.

I met him today, and boy was i gobsmacked i couldnt even speak, my hand was shaking when i shook his hand lol. In the end i managed to say goodbye in japanese to him!! happiest day of my life..

I personally love metal gear 1, prob. my favorite single player out there. Really felt the immersion, the incredible (and big screen budget worthy) storyline and the some new gameplay elements.

I guess I just don’t like games with loads of cut scenes. IMO there are much better ways to tell story in games. I am not saying they don’t have a place; they should just not be over used. Mass Effect is a great example, make everything interactive.
