I got hired tooooo. My first industry job and as a trainee vfx artist for a very popular studio in South England. so I am doing everything under the sun it looks like, from modelling, texturing, animation, particles the works. I cant wait but I gotta work my notice at my retail job before I get there, 2 weeks to go
![]() I do have a massive thanks to game-artist.net though as its made me pull my finger out and got me in contact for the position on their now hiring thread. Just hope I can do all the work they put infront of me. ![]() Best thing is though that I do not have to work the midnight launch of the new GTA now. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY goodbye retail |

I also got hired a month ago ( Which is why you don't see me as much on here - lol ) However its just a QA tester position for now, but having a link to developers to ask them about my work straight up is very helpful. I'm currently working on a UT level that uses only Textures/Models made by me which I will probably post here in its own thread soon too.
Good luck to everyone else. We all know it isn't easy. |
