Facial Studio & Max9

Forgive me for asking, but a friend burnt me "Facial Studio 1.5" and I installed to the right dir and all but everytime I open max I get the wonderful error message 127 and it won't work. If you know why it won't work "aside from the possibility the plugin is outdated" let me know and I'll post some screen caps of the problem. Thanks
