So, when 3D Realms take DNF to press, there will be an anomoly in the Valve time continuum, and HL1 will happen.

Can't say I was impressed by it at all. Animations of Duke were bad (or at least bad skinning), model seemed pretty low poly and the few seconds of ingame action they showed looked below par to say the least (this is visually speaking, gameplay wise it might be very fun
). Granted, they are a small team working on this, but still... I hope for them this is very old footage and that they have far exceeded what they showed us today. No one knows what engine this is. last ?official? word was it is a heavily modified unreal engine 2 (not 1).
