This does look pretty sweet
I just read an interview with Jeff Morris and he said they realise that UT2k4 was an update that nobody wanted, so they are trying to get the gameplay back to what it was in UT99 by taking out all the wierd mobility stuff so the game is easier to follow, which sounds like a good decision to me Plus the characters and the reload animations look insane |

There are people who like the gameplay, why changing something and possibly giving up the community which played and enjoyed the game from UT'99. Its slightly against the development of new game designs, but good games never change!
![]() Furthermore their nice pixel shaders are used by many companies to develope their games with totaly different concepts. Haha ok, enough advertisement.

(ok here goes pessimistic me)
why aren't there shadows in the first movie? :O and the shadows in the HD movie are flippin' 'n trippin' on the rocket launcher if you look at gears of war, and even the little robot game made in UE(ngine, not editor) 3 you can see what its capable of. but when looking at UT2007, i dont know, the gameplay style doesnt show how beautifull it all is ![]() and yeah low-qual explosions and floaty animations make it visually less attractive as well, just like you guys said. but still looking forward to the game! i hope its as fun as ever Last edited by chris89; 01-11-2007 at 04:46 AM. |
