I saw the demo on 360xbox, looked allright, but should have been more adventure kind of game, first it looked like that, but then suddenly in the end of the demo some army of cloned men and women with tommyguns attacked the player...

I think I won't get the pc version anytime soon, my computer would choke into the detail and effects.

got the precache stuff via steam two days ago, only waiting for them to release it. funnily, 'friday' means 'friday at 10pm in germany' on steam... which basically adds another day of waiting :/

Just played through the demo. Really enjoyed it

Visually awesome environments, and some of the best water effects I have ever seen, but I didnt really like the characters very much. The suspense was built up brilliantly, and then a little cartoony character would jump out at you and it was a bit of a let down

Loved the demo, and since I preloaded the game a few days ago, I’m going to buy it as soon as it is released here in Europe.
I really like Art Deco design so if you ask me, this game looks brilliant!

Its not a bug or just a demo thing.

Bioshock only supports Shader Model 3.0, which leaves a lot of ATI users out in the cold (like me). This is a decision they made, for god knows what reason since the engine does supports SM2.0, but their game doesn't.

Something I found ridiculous, is that a single programmer has already found a way to get his demo to play on his SM2.0 card. Granted its not perfect, a lot of textures will be off... But if one fan can do it in a day, why couldn't the studio have put a little more effort into developing it this way.

played the demo but wasnt impressed
a bit too much blooming for my liking and most of the textures had a really simple look with too much normalmapdetail that idisliked
i never was a fan of magic stuff in fps games
so im gonna let this one go

I tried the Steam demo and it was awesome, this game really lived up to it's hype.

i got the collector's edition for the pc so now i have a nice big daddy figure sitting on my desk. the game is amazing though, i would have to call it easily one of the best games i have ever played. the graphics are beautiful and the atmosphere is fantastic. the only thing i don't care for too much is that sometimes trying to pick up items off the floor can be a little difficult. especially if something is sitting in a really dark corner and under some stuff. i'm also pretty thankful i haven't had any issues running the game, even with an ati card.
