Marmoset
so just got Marmoset working on my pc
got a few questions 1. normal maps how do i render those i tried attaching a normal map to my 3d model problem is doesnt seem to be showing 2. how to add lighting when i tried adding lighting the whole screen turned gray 3. how to render in marmoset? |

Very Basically...And this is basic.....
Open marmo.Then go, file/open mesh/choose your required mesh. Default lighting is usually Dawn,to change,go to light/sky light presets/choose your option. To render/choose output tab/save shot(f12) Screenshot is then saved to your desktop/usually in .tga format. Basically 3 or 4 mins of work,and if your maps are half decent you can produce a half decent look. ie,  Forgot to mention,I altered the background,darkened it a tad.Go /view/background colour. If you still struggle,post away.Although it`s one of the easiest bits of kit to learn tbh... Good luck. Personally.I`d love to see this tool evolve into a fully fledged engine.I think it would "knock the socks" of most of the current engines out there,If it progressed sufficiently..Just my take on it. Think BuLL covered most things in his post there, but as for adding a light and everything turning grey are you using a radeon 7000 card? try updating to the newest version 1.07 this fixes the problem.

i dont know whats wrong everytime i click add light my whole screen suddenly turns gray but everything else is working fine |
