Can you recommend me a drawing Tablet?

I'm thinking of getting a tablet to get back into drawing / art / etc. Was wondering what you chaps use and waht you'd recommend? Everyone seems to go Wacom, so, same for me then I guess?

Thanks.

Yeah, Wacom's your best bet.

The size and model is really dependant on your bank balance and desk space, heh. A Graphire4 or Intuos3 should do you very nicely. I'd avoid the Volitos or whatever the budget range is called.

A5 and A6 sizes I find are the most comfortable to use. The A4 ones are pretty big, I'd say on the borderline between usefulness and comfort. A3 ones are monstrous.

I have a Graphire2 A6 and it's a nice size, though I'd prefer an A5. Lasted ages, too.

if you have the money I'd go for an intuos 3 a4. if you're a bit short, go for the a5, and if you're just giving it a try take the a6.

we use Wacom Graphire A5's around the office. They work quite well and won't break your bank balance...

i had an intuos a5, it broke down, wacom germany wasn't too kind, and now i have a volito 1. and to be honest, i like it. sometimes it has some glitches, but nothing ctrl+z can't fix in programs, i dont mis my intuos a5 features except the size.
having said that, i think your best bet would be a graphire or still an intuos. it costs a bit more than the very cheap 25$ volito 1, but the extra buttons and precision is nice.

I've got a grapihire 4 classic XL (a5), and am really pleased with it.
If you live in Holland, you can get is for € 164,60.
The drivers are not all what I hoped they would be (they keep crashing, failing to work once every so often)
