I got an Adesso c12000, it's a 9x12 that kinds between the Graphire and Intuos in quality but it cost me less than the 4x6 Graphire. I'm pretty happy with it so far even though I'm really new to tablets and for me it's almost like learning to draw all over again. I really don't use it nearly enough and should remedy that.

I have been using the same WACOM Intuos 3 4x5 for all my texturing and modeling needs since 2004 and I couldn't be happier. I also highly recommend using the WACOM felt nibs that help simulate graphite pencil.
![]() Thonz, regarding modeling with a tablet, I just have one hand on the keyboard (for hitting ALT, CTRL, etc.) and the other on the stylus/tablet (which sits at a 10 degree inclination for a more ergonomic position). I also had to re-assign the middle mouse button on my stylus to a more accessible button. Modeling with a stylus will take a few days to get used to, but becomes second nature after that, especially if you're already familiar with drawing in the first place.
