Do concept artist require a certain style?
Hello everyone
![]() I'm new to game design (I'm only 13) and I was wondering if concept artist, and other game artists, required a certain style. I understand that the 'look' of the game changes and you must be able to adapt your style, but generally speaking can you have any style of art? I am interested in anime, but If no one will want to hire someone that draws anime, even if they draw it well, I would like to know before I get rejected for having a certain art style. Thankyou for taking the time to read and/or reply to this thread! It's a great help <3 |

Have a listen to this:
Episode 18 – Concept Art Games Industry Mentor I would say since you are so young to just concentrate on improving your traditional drawing skills for now and think about 'styles' in the future.
