Image attachment, how?

I am seeing many users are using Phtobucket as an image hosting site. I assume they are not just copying the web address there right? What is the method to linking image directly to the forum so that you don’t get all the web site display with it?

if you host from Photobucket click on insert image, and it should ask for a url. Then you just need to copy and paste the direct link url from photobucket into that and it should show up on your post.

After you upload a picture to Photobucket (or a similar hosting site), it will offer you a few different links to "share" that photo. Copy and paste from there.

You can post a direct link like this : http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/a...in/AK47_V4.jpg

or you can embed your image by using the "IMG code" like this :
[*IMG]http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/ac109/Polygoblin/AK47_V4.jpg[*/IMG]

(delete *'s, and you get this...)

You'll notice that the only difference between these links is the at the end.

Hope this helps, mate

I find image shack works a lot better for posting on forums. Photo bucket can have random issues sometimes and the links can go dead after a wile in my experience anyway.
