Ballistic Publishing Books

Afternoon, I'm interested in buying a few of the Ballistic Publishing art books, mostly the character modeling ones and concept art etc. However they are quite expensive, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a website, or shop that sold them a bit cheaper than usual? I live in the UK if that helps.

Also could anyone recommend some similar books worth having?

Cheers.

Ballistic publishing print high end books and so they come at a premuim price, I doubt there are anywhere that will sell it cheaper.

There are plenty of other great books by 'Design Studio Press'
Books : Design Studio Press

Very reasonal prices from Amazon.

Also this is great site to check on reviews before you buy:

I have the character and face ballistic publishing books and (for me) they're pretty advanced. It seems like they model specifically for CG or film quality videos.

If you're looking at character art, I would highly recommend Anthony Ward's "Game Character Development" book. Helped me a lot when I did my first character and it explains a lot of the terms and pipeline.
