Mixamo just published a new CG Resources Finder with links to resources for 3d modeling, texture mapping, rendering and lighting, animation, rigging, dynamics, sculpting, game engines, 2d, sound, training, assets, and more.

Suggest more via the widget on the finder homepage.

What about sound design? Thats becoming a key area of many games such as Deus Ex and Skyrim. They have sound tracks worthy of Hollywood

I think sound design is crucial. I am all up for info and resources connected to that area. Artists should be warned though that sound design and composing, performing, mixing and mastering is a big area. Music is a wicked mistress and she will eat up all your time gladly
