3ds Max 2011 UI

Grabbed this link from over at CGTalk: max 2011
Image #6 grabbed my attention, looks like a new parametric interface for modeling.

lol damn it feels like it was just the other day that 2010 was announced.

The past few iterations of max have been mostly just the inclusion of well known plug-ins which isn't a bad thing as it makes the process more streamlined, but it doesn't exactly give much to those that already own the plug-ins. Though they do seem to be adding a few things that will be interesting to try out.

the addition of Qt is a great addition for Maya and in fact it's already been in Motionbuilder and Mudbox since 2009/2010.

3ds max seems to have some nice features for game artists. Maya does not. Please fix this

Well this is a matter of personal opinion of course, but there are plenty of games made with Max or Softimage for that matter, plus not forgetting Max.

You guys seem to do alright
