I've been playing around with 2011 for last few days. I really like it! View port canvas is very cool. I had a few problems going back and forth between photoshop but I think I've ironed out a solid work flow. I first create a blank document in PS, apply it to may material in the diffuse channel, then add layers as needed in VPC. I experienced a bug where if I didn't have a blank layer serving as 'background' I'd get weird pixelzation when in VPC.
Following Wayne Robson's tutorial on importing PS brushes to mudbox, I've been importing my PS brushes into 3ds max.
Also, the ability to customize the graphite tools with personalized tabs is really cool, too.
Solid release for me so far, but there is so much that I haven't even gotten too yet, lol
