New competition soon?

Sorry for being impatient but I simply can't wait to join the upcoming lowpoly competition

Any hints about when the next competition starts?

Yep we'll be launching the next GAMC shortly, plus we have a special treat for you all in the works which will be coming up in the next couple of months

If the competition threads were created for practice, why should we wait any longer?
I don't mind prices... just a nice idea to try and to learn from practice and comments and critics.

If you have no ideas for a new competition, just call for ideas...

Thank you for your time

Most users like a competition with real content. That has to be designed and organized. Once the comp is underway it has to monitored. It is being worked on.

I'm guessing they don't post competition threads ever day willy nilly because:

a)It takes a lot of thought, time and effort to create a competition that will be interesting and challenging with some real content so people can get in some real practise and

b)If you don't spend time on the above organization, you end up with a whole heap of low content, low value competitions and posts, such as one I saw on polycount which was pretty much "Make a melee weapon for a game lol" which then devolved into people posting pictures of dildos and going haha guys wouldnt it be funny if we made this as a melee weapon amirite?

Looking forward to the new competition guys, I haven't had the chance to participate in one of the new GAMC's yet.

Yes, I saw that competition, too. There are a lot of competitions out there, but as you mentioned... some of them are just trash, others are pure highpoly,...

I like the high quality of work here and I would like to join a competition in order to learn things. Well, if urgaffel pointed out that it would take some more time, I would select an older competition and start practicing. But hey, I thought the next competition would be just around the corner

Thank you and sorry for this confusing posting
