New Staff

Hey guys,

I'm happy to announce the induction of two new moderators to the Game-Artist forums.

The first is Rashad Redic (Shade01), who has been a moderator on CGTalk for some time and has decided to help out on Game-Artist. Rashad is an environment artist whom you may remember from an interview the Glynn conducted some months back, in which he talked about the work he did on the environments in Fallout 3.

The second moderator is Peter Åsberg (Urgaffel), who is also an environment modeller from Rebellion. Peter has been a valued member of both CGTalk and Game-Artist for a number of years and was highly recommended as a worthy leader on these forums.

I hope that you will join me in welcoming these two guys as moderators on GA and treat them with the respect befitting their station.

Cheers,
Tim

Hi everyone.

Short introduction; My name is Peter and I've been doing 3d for way too long. Been working with game or game related art for the last 4-5 years now and am currently working at Rebellion Derby as Environment Artist on a secret project.

I'm originally from Sweden but have lived in Amsterdam for about a year and a small town called Purmerend for about 6 months, I now live in the UK and have been here for a couple of years. I've also traveled around here and there and have to say that Vancouver is one of my favourite places so far

I am very happy to be chosen for this and I will do my best to keep things interesting!

Hehe thanks. And probably not, I was going home from the office around 8-9pm on average, some nights at 1-2am. God that was a deathmarch and a half... Thank god I'm not doing hours like that anymore!

Welcome!

Although I shall blame you guys if this turns into some sort of scheme to turn us into Stroggs!

Nice to see you guys on board.

urgaffel: Vancouver is indeed a great place, especially if you like asian food (stay away from hastings street though).

It will be nice to see Shade01 around too, Fallout 3 is a great inspiration for me as an Environment Artist (and an awesome game). It will be great to have his expertise around here.
