Just blocked out the colours and started adding in a little detail. along ways to go yet... just a diffuse and the supplied normals at the moment.




Really nice model, bake and unwrap!
Any comments and crits would be great!

Quick update, added a very simple specular for now just to get an idea of how it will look

dreadsnipa: Cool idea, i also really think the model can lend itself to this kind of theme

Nice strong base i feel the gold parts already, had quite something like that in mind for i texture it myself sometime soon :P Only the ao is way too much on the metal and leather imho. also nice touch on the star part btw :P Keep it up!

@ Nymuz:
cheers, yeah looking at it now the AO is too heavy, especialy on the back of the shield.
Fair play on the model its really nice and clean and the UV's are really nicely layed out. cant wait to see what other people come up with
