GAMC #4 - Turbine
![]() Challenge Dates: 20.11.09 to 6.12.09 Competition Goal The main goal for this competition is to direct entrants to the task of creating portfolio-ready assets of a high-quality standard, whilst keeping them well optimised for use in a realtime / videogame engine environment within a tight timeframe. Your final screenshots must be posted in the submission thread by the 6th of December 2009. Your subject for this challenge is a Turbine Engine. Style and texturing decisions are your choice, provided you work from the concept sketch and keep to the specifications given. ![]() WIP Threads should be posted HERE in the following manner 'GAMC #4 - Username'. Rules
Voting Voting will be conducted from the 6th of December to the 13th of December 2009. During the voting period, everyone has the right to vote. Voting for yourself is not allowed. The voting process will run for 1 week in a separate voting-thread. If you fail to vote during that week, you loose your right to vote in this competition. The winner will be the person with the highest score. At the beginning of each competition you will be given a theme/concept to follow. However, in the interests of stimulating creativity, you are allowed to make minor changes to the concept. It's also similar to what you'd have to do in a real game studio. You'd be handed a concept and while you can deviate somewhat from it, you still have to follow it to a degree. Some stuidos are more harsh and have you follow the concept EXACTLY but we are a bit more lenient
