OK another 45 min. I think I am going to finalize form and proportions within this geometry. looks a bit bulky. sketch is a bit rough and doesnt make sense at few places so I am trying to stay in the middle. next stage after finalizing its form is adding geometric detail. will do it tomorrow. Its time

Started doing something else and then couldnt resist and here is another half an hour update.
I am happy with the form and proportions so far. specially Poly count is very good. 657 verts. Anyway. I will have a fresh look at it tomorrow. will probably find errors. meanwhile. good luck to everyone. and crits/suggestions are more than welcome. ![]() ciao tomorrow |

thanx guys.. ![]() Chaosquack: You are absolutely right. I will put tries count in my mind because thats what we call polycount. Remember the old lovely polycount utility in max.. I loved it. and I miss it. stoopdapoop: Thanx and I agree.. It needs to be a bit long as well. Its thickish as compared to the reference. |

Hi guys one more hour. I fixed some proportions issues. acted on some suggestions. I also added geometric details here and there. Oo and I used some references for those details. for me geometry is done and luckily its 1996 tries in the end. I will do UV in next sitting tomorrow. and will do the texture as well if possible. I am working on satuarday and sunday evenings. specially on sunday I have to work from 5 pm to 12 midnight. so I think I will upload my work on satuarday evening...

It has already taken 2 hr 45 min and I couldn't update it further. For me It shouldn't be more than a 5-6 hrs job. I still have to do UVs and I think I am going to finish it in next 1/2 to one hour. Then 2-3 hours are for texturing. Lets see if I can meet my schedule or not. Coz realistically I don't have more time than this.

Hey Guys..
Here is an update.. I havnt got time to do a hires geometry to make a normal map.. I will probably doa normal manually by hand in photoshop based on my diffuse surface features.. But here are couple simple diffuse map max veiwport screen captures... I need some suggestions on features which are added or should have been added. Or should be removed.. or whatever...
