GAMC #3 - Chaosquack

Alright got in this one at the beginning. Learned a lot from the last Challenge so hopefully I will be able to concentrate more on the UAV and less on using certain techniques.

Not much to show yet, just quickly blocking out forms for the high poly.

and

I will most likely end up going more angular on the fuselage.

Thanks Kaleb.

Played a little bit with it. I am not sure how I want to go about the rear end. I would love to hear some suggestions. I am thinking of taking my current shape back there and and extruding it in to a jet engine.

Also the intake is buggin me, mostly because if this is a jet craft there wouldn't' be those tiny obstructions gettin in the way of the airflow, I may be over thinking that a bit there.

and

If you could crit the form that would be great!

High poly update.

Flaps are seperate elements as they would be. All rivets/seams will be drawn in photoshop and converted with xnormal. No reason to model those in.

Still not sure about that damn vent.

Night.

Interesting choice with the ridges across the top. The intakes look a bit like a cheap bathroom heater though I think. Try pushing the fins deeper and reducing their number?

I guess what it comes down to is scale, how big is this thing going to be for you?

We talking Global Hawk Size, maybe Predator/Reaper size, or even DesertHawk size.

I think the current grill would be fine for something very small like the desert hawk, especially if the engine is a Turboprop.

Kinetichaze - Thanks for the comments. I like the angular look, keeps the silhouette of the concept but varies up the look from the others. I agree the intake was wierd. You can see where I am heading with that down below.

Stoopdapoop - I would see this as a Predator/Reaper sized craft. Thanks for the suggestions.

As you can see I tried a new look to it. I am liking this much better so far.
