GAMC #2 - Tiros
So, I weren't actually going to part-take in this competition, nor is it certain I will.. I got a project coming up at uni and I'm not sure how much energy and time I'll have left to work on this.
But I played around a little, creating the back-piece, and eventually I had a armchair.. As you might be able to see I also brought it into ZBrush, although my sculpting kind of sucks atm.. Havn't done it in quite a while either which really doesn't help. ![]()

Agreed, the band across the back feels too subtle to be an actual design element. I would either crank up the detail (seams, wrinkles, bolts or buttons...) or remove it altogether. Also, I feel that the leather itself could use some more creases in general....and I think the rear legs are supposed to be different from the front legs too. But that's all picky details...it looks great overall imo, and I can't wait to see it come together

Don't have much time to spend on this.. did a quick test-bake and it deffo needs a bit of tweaking as you can see. Hope I'll be able to finish on time, but can't guarantee anything..
![]() /edit: btw, the whole mesh with duplicated feet (not shown in the image) is at 1265 tris.
