Glad I could help! I find that Xnormals default cage works every time....you just need to make sure your mesh is properly exploded into it's respective parts, and then fuss with the default mesh scale of your models on import.

Ah I didn't explode it this time, just made a few minor adjustments to the normal by hand.

I thought the deadline was the 9th but I just noticed it was the 6th, tomorrow I'll be starting on my textures. Hardest part for me I'm afraid

So I've been working on the textures, had to redo some of my unwrapping to get the max effect.
So ye, I'm pretty much a noob at texturing, so please give me all the tips you have and don't hold back

The black in the crevices seems very harsh. I like it so far though, has a certain feel about it that looks like it could go into Borderlands or somthing.

Looks good! It looks like cloth rather than leather, I don't know if that was the effect you are going for. If you want it to look more like leather I would suggest making the fabric pattern smaller for starters. great job
