GAMC #2 - Ibrahim

Spent a few hours today creating the high res model of the chair in Max. I plan to take this into Mudbox to add further detail and generally just make it more inflated, maybe even sculpt in some ass prints...

Cheers fellas.

Not had a great deal of time to work on this. I've only done about 5-6 hours worth of work during the last few days because of bloody work! Anyhoo, here's another update.

Not yet sculpted in mudbox, I've tried to crunch out as much detail as I can in Max.

May I ask? How many tri's this must be your high poly version. There seems to More than 2000 poly's just in the legs.

I think by not taking it into mudbox it looks a lot better, some entries have an odd uneven look to the padding as they have sculpted it by hand. whereas this looks more realistic.

Cheers. Ye, I thought I'd be better off doing as much of the high poly model as I can to achieve a nice clean look, and rely on Mudbox soley for the finer details.

Here's the low poly version of the model done, although a little rushed. I got rid of the wheels to better optimise the mesh and also to stick closer to the concept.

Next on the list is unwrapping, baking and then texturings - and I've got less than two days to do that.

I did some quick, fine detail sculpting in Mudbox - nothing special. The textures have been baked, and now it's time for texturing, hopefully I can get it done before the deadline.
